WEBINAR
MONDAY, June 22, 2026
This will be our next online information session for leaders who want to learn more, ask questions, and understand the assessment pathway.
We are also reviewing aligned climate events where our Climate Ambassadors may attend, table, or help raise awareness. Our priority is to be strategic, not scattered.
The campaign is built for decision-makers, nonprofit leaders, schools, faith-based organizations, multifamily sites, and commercial leaders who are ready to explore solar now.
In-PERSON
TUESDAY, June 23, 2026
LOCATION:
Elementary Institute of Science
This will be a live, in-person opportunity to connect with organizations, answer questions, and help leaders understand how to move toward solar, storage, and Safe Harbor readiness.
Safe Harbor is a federal provision that may allow eligible solar projects to preserve current Investment Tax Credit rates by taking qualifying early action before the project is complete. For this campaign, that means spending at least 5% by July 4, 2026 on eligible early project costs such as energy analysis, site survey, feasibility study, design, permit and interconnection applications, and, where appropriate, materials. Because commercial approvals may take 3 to 12 months depending on the utility, HOA, permit office, and city or county timelines, early action helps protect incentives while the project moves toward approval and installation by 2030.
"You do not have to decide everything today. But you do need to understand your options before the window closes."
TRUST NOTE
Submitting this form does not create a commitment. Incentive eligibility, project savings, and Safe Harbor status must be confirmed through technical and tax review.
Eligible nonprofits and faith organizations can receive the full 50% ITC value as a direct IRS payment, even if they pay no federal income taxes. This changes the math significantly for mission-driven organizations. Your organization does not need a tax appetite to benefit.
Ownership, usage, roof/land conditions, and utility situation all affect whether a site qualifies. The evaluation process is free and designed to give your organization a clear answer.
The federal government offers a 50% tax credit on solar installation costs. To lock it in, the project must begin by July 4, 2026. Once you qualify, your project has until 2030 to complete — while keeping the credit.
Nonprofits: receive this as a direct IRS payment, even with no federal tax burden.
To lock it in, spend 5% minimum Energy Analysis, Site Survey, Feasibility Study, Design, Permit and Interconnection Application, and any remainder on Materials by July 4, 2026.
You do not need to be a solar expert to begin. MOVE Solar NOW is designed to help site leaders understand the opportunity, ask better questions, and connect with the right technical partners when the time is right.
